Processional March Montezuma

Processional March by Humphrey John Stewart (1856 – 1932) was composed as the introductory portion of music for the play, Montezuma, written by Louis A. Robertson and performed in the Bohemian Grove, Sonoma County, California, August 3, 1908.

Performance Notes: 

John Stewart transcribed the piece for organ and used it at the opening of the Dec. 31, 1914 dedication concert for the Panama-California Exposition in San Diego, CA.  This arrangement is taken from the original organ music and adapted for concert band.
